Workshop Outline:

1. Introduction to Emotional Wellness

  • Overview of the importance of emotional wellness in holistic health.

  • Explanation of how emotional pain and unresolved trauma can affect various aspects of life, not just weight.

  • Brief discussion on the book "Losing Your Pounds of Pain" and its core messages about emotional healing.

2. Identifying Emotional Triggers

  • Guided introspective exercises to help participants identify their emotional triggers and how these affect their behavior and well-being.

  • Journaling prompts to explore past experiences and emotions that might be impacting their current state.

3. Healing Techniques

  • Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping): Demonstrate how to use EFT to release negative emotions and promote emotional healing.

  • Mindfulness and Meditation: Teach mindfulness practices and guided meditations to help participants stay present and manage stress.

  • Visualization Exercises: Guide participants through visualizations to imagine releasing emotional pain and cultivating a healthier self-image.

4. Self-Care and Self-Compassion

  • Discussion on the importance of self-care and self-compassion in emotional healing.

  • Practical self-care routines and rituals that support emotional well-being.
